RYMAN AUDITORIUM DEBUT
As a surprise opener for the great Clay Walker's sold out show at the Ryman Auditorium, Colton Dawson walks on stage with an awesome voice, lightning guitar licks, great country songs, and humble charisma, winning the hearts of every member of the audience. Within his 5 song set, he received TWO powerful standing ovations to original songs “It’s Gonna Rain”, a ballad that pulled the heart strings of the crowd, and “Might Be In It”, a rowdy, upbeat country anthem.

Colton is currently recording his debut album at The Castle Recording Studios in Franklin, TN, the birthplace of hundreds of gold and platinum records.
Alongside legendary producer Chuck Ainlay and hit songwriter Roger Springer, Colton is breathing life into 12 of his greatest songs.
Playing on the record is the Nashville A-Team of studio musicians, including Brent Mason on guitar, Paul Franklin on steel guitar, Gordon Mote on keys, Glenn Worf on bass, B. James Lowry on acoustic guitar, Larry Franklin on fiddle, and Country Music Hall of Famer Eddie Bayers on drums.
From timeless tearjerkers to barn-burning fast paced country songs destined to be the soundtrack to everyday lives, Colton's highly anticipated debut album is sure to make waves in country music.
